In case you didn’t know, we’ve been having a young women’s Bible study every Wednesday night. Our original small group of 6 has changed dramatically over the past couple of months. Basically, I’m the only one left from the original small group, we’ve gone through 3 small group leaders & have grown to a group of about 9 or 10 girls. Once Dinante left, she passed on the role of small group leader to me!
Obviously, our small group keeps everything within our small group & we don’t go around the ship telling everyone about each other’s personal lives. It’s a very trustworthy group. So, that being said, I can’t give you the full details on what’s going on every Wednesday but I can tell you that we started a theme of “What does it look like to be a Christian woman?”
Last night was the first week that we started this continuous theme, and we began with Proverbs 31:10-24. Now, I’ve read these verses before…but I’ve never looked deeply into them. Last night, we read from all of our different translations of the Bible & talked about what all the different verses meant to us. It was so cool to see how each girl was able to relate the verses to their lives in unique ways. And by reading deeper into the scriptures, I learned way more from these 14 verses than I ever thought possible. Can’t wait till next week!
Side Note: Mom says she’s scared I’ll never be a lady…maybe this will help ; )
