The food on the ship has been great since the first day I arrived. In fact, it’s so great that people here tend to get “Mercy Hips.” But I think that’s more due to the fact that so many carbs are served at every meal.
Anyways, each meal contains a hot line and a cold line. The cold line has basically stayed the same over the past four months and no one really ever seemed to complain. But now that we are in Tenerife, we are noticing everything that we’ve been missing out on: plums, red & yellow peppers, mushrooms, peaches, pears, orange oranges (the ones in Benin were green), and pears! Everyone’s plates are so colorful now & I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to eat a healthy salad in my whole life.
