Emma, Kendall & I on the bow during the sunset. They only open the bow during the sail…so it’s the hot spot to be, especially when the sunsets are as gorgeous as these ones:
Apparently the sail has been extremely smooth so far. But for the crew that has never sailed before, it sure seems rocky! Just sitting in my room I can tell that we are rocking because I look at the paper snowflakes that my roommate put up and I see them swaying from side to side. Also, I have to sleep either on my back or on my stomach…because if I sleep on my side, I have to balance myself in order to not fall over. And two nights ago, Kendall and I put on socks and slid from one side of our room to the other with the rocking of the ship. Walking up the stairs is also a challenge! You go from feeling extremely light, to feeling like you weigh 100 more pounds than you should.
Rocking Port side.
