On my way down to get blood taken in order to become a frequent blood donor, I accidentally walked into the wrong hallway. The crew nurse told me to take my first left to the hallway parallel to her office, then take a right down the hall and I will find my destination on my left. So…I took my first left, then followed a lady as I turned right and kept walking down the hall. As I was walking down the hall, I noticed that every room I passed had a patient lying on the table being operated on! “Oh geeze” I thought to myself. “I am not suppose to be in here.” I kept on walking through the hall, because it’s the only thing I could think to do. As I passed the last room before the door ahead of me, I caught eyes with a guy cleaning the surgery tools. I quickly opened the door and as I closed it and looked behind me, I saw a sign with a GIANT red X over it. Yes, I obviously took a wrong turn. A few steps ahead of me was the room where I had to get my blood tested (which ended up not working out because my veins are too small, but they will call me if they are desperate). And about 10 minutes later, as I was upstairs in the Internet cafe, the surgery tool cleaning guy asked me, “now just what were you doing sneaking around the surgery ward?” I explained the whole story to him and we both ended up laughing…plus I made a new friend.
